You now have the opportunity to join Tim and Dawn Woody and many others who want to and will change the system. Stand By Me NC is having their first press conference and community meeting. Stand By Me NC is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that believes in the capacity of our collective voice and our individual stories. They create change and combat social stigma, public apathy, and government inaction through sharing the stories of their personal pain and their dreams for what they know life can be for those who live with these illnesses. Please join Stand By Me NC
for a Community Meeting on August 21st from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be at First United Methodist Church, Cary, NC, 117 S Academy St, Cary, NC 27511. This event will open discussion on the concerns, experiences, and the vision which we all have. Please spread the good news!
