Many in our congregation and community are affected by mental illness. On Sunday, Feb. 2, Dr. Harold Koenig, a faculty member at Duke University Medical Center and the Duke Divinity School and one of the world's top experts on religion and health, will kick off a series of seminars on understanding our Christian role in responding to those with mental illness.
Dr. Koenig's research on religion, health and ethical issues in medicine has been featured on The Today Show, ABC's World News Tonight, Good Morning America, NPR, BBC, Reader's Digest, Parade Magazine and Newsweek. The seminars will be held Sundays, February 2 - March 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. |
